He was reportedly flagged for a "Deus vult" tattoo, which he felt labeled him an extremist. He resigned.

Pickled Peter Hegseth regularly abused alcohol to the point that he passed out at family gatherings, and once needed to be dragged out of a strip club while in uniform. His ex-wife, former colleagues on Fox News and others have similar stories of his "kegsbreath". Pete Hegseth was forced to step down by Veterans for Freedom and Concerned Veterans for America that he ran due to mismanagement of funds, sexual impropriety and reports of intoxicated behavior. Hegseth said if confirmed he would not drink alcohol but people were skeptical.

In April 2025, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth created another Signal messaging chat that included his wife and brother where he shared details of military strikes in Yemen against Houthi rebels. A second, separate Signal group chat was exposed after a journalist was mistakenly added to a high-level admin group chat, which included VP JD Vance and other senior officials. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz erroneously added Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor-in-chief of the American magazine The Atlantic and the moderator of the PBS weekly news program Washington Week, to the group.

In September 2025, he United States military began air strikes on alleged drug traffickers in the Caribbean. The Trump administration seems to have no evidence. They use the excuse of narco-terrorists to attack and kill people. Trump attacked a boat from Venezuela, killing all 11 people aboard. He later had strikes on land in Venezuela because he wanted to steal oil and manipulate the oil market. Trump says U.S. will 'run' Venezuela and sell seized oil in remarks on the strikes a few months later. He also wants geopolitical domination of the world. Remember the Hands Off protest? We said Hands off Canada, Greenland and Ukraine. Trump is always looking to take from assets from people.

In a September 30, 2025 speech at Quantico, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth declared an end to the "woke" Department of Defense, pivoting to a "War Department" focused on lethality, merit-based promotions, and traditional military standards. He complained of declining standards and fat generals. Imagine being in the military and having to hear Pete the drunk racist insulting your country and you. They were professional and stoic in stark contrast to the embarrassment in charge.

Pete Hegseth reads a prayer adapted from the Pulp Fiction movie during Pentagon service. It is particularly offensive since Trump's staff is calling the Iran conflict a Holy War and Trump created an AI image depicting himself as Jesus. They bombed a girls' school in Minab, Iran. That doesn't sound Christ-like to me.

In April 2026, House Democrats introduce six articles of impeachment against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Wednesday accusing him of abuse of power, war crimes and other serious wrongdoing. He should have been removed after Signalgate. He is a danger to our allies and our own military. Impeach Pete Hegseth.
