My 'friend' Major Jason Watson was arrested

Barely know the guy...but he is a hero

Forget exactly how I bumped into 'J Dub' or 'I am a Nobody', as he called himself before he got arrested. Those were the only names I knew before he was speaking in front of the camera on July 1 as Major Jason Watson, U.S. Air Force - active duty.

You know OpSec.

Circled him through his website, started reading his substack, then started interacting with his Bluesky LLC account and his crew of supporters that would become The Good Trouble Squadron. We all became 'friends.' In that weird social media 'friends' way.

Ir would be impertinent for me to claim JDub as a friend.

Only met JDub, in a Zoom call, once with just him and his real friend Melanie. He graciously laid out his plans to a complete stranger, after evaluating me for about 30 seconds. I cherish that trust. He was still in Poland at that point. He was very determined, articulate, and committed to America and justice. He wore a JDub T-shirt and a warm smile. He was very happy to complete his 'spiel' in 20 minutes.

Later heard him speak to the Good Trouble Squadron multiple times as he laid out his vision for action after his arrest.

Despite barely knowing him, I choked up pretty good watching him live on July 1.

That was when I first learned his name.

Jason made an incredible case for why his oath to the Constitution impelled his civil disobedience in his speech on July 1. He faces court martial, loss of a 17 year U.S. Air Force career and pension. He could face years of incarceration.

A little later on July 4th...

The following weekend, I was privileged to march with a variety of veteran and women groups on July 4th, 2026 - the Nation's 250th birthday in Philadelphia. It was 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

Jason's second arrest

Jason was arrested again after daring to go on CNN and continuing to call Trump and this administration a failure.

Supporters

The irregular Good Trouble Squadron is his group of BlueSky supporters. We'll do our best make sure JDub's sacrifice is not in vain. And we welcome others to join our ranks. We are all volunteers. No paid protestors here!

As of this writing, JDub is facing court martial, loss of his pay and pension and is held in solitary confinement.

1. Pressure Congress to Impeach, Convict, Remove Trump, Hegseth, JD Vance
2. Economic action: boycott the administration's donors and supporters, Jason is also a proponent of a general strikes
3. Visible and continuous protest by people of all ages
4. Support for the Removal Coalition, Citizen's Impeachment, and Free Speech for People - groups that directly support his actions
5. Love over hate - Jason views Trump and his followers as misguided and cultish. He expects his peeps to keep in mind that we are not red, not blue, but are American

There is one official legal defense fund on Spot Fund. The funds go directly to his legal trust.

Recently Jason requested supporters help his family. He has two young children who are dependent on his pay.
