Dear John -

Disagree with your vote against a war powers amendment to limit the administration's ability to strike smugglers without Congressional authorization.

This administration is stepping quickly down a slippery slope by designating the Cartel (and protesters) as terrorists. Interestingly, DEA prosecutions of drug crimes so far this year is at its lowest point this century.

There are better ways to combat the cartels than blowing up a handful of fiberglass boats using expensive munitions. Waste of tax dollars for performative violence.
