Letter to Congressman Ryan Mackenzie - Big Bogus Bill

Letter to Congressman Ryan Mackenzie - Big Bogus Bill
Squeaky is very impressed by your tan.

August 29, 2025

Dear Ryan,

Appreciate you highlighting your "work" on recess - hanging out with first responders and the civil air patrol, a photo opp at electric safety demo, and a meeting with our dwindling supply of Lehigh Valley farmers. You look happy, tan, and well rested. Life in US Congress seems to agree with you.

Certainly fentanyl is serious and our first responders understand that problem. But jeez, hear much crowing about how DEA and DOJ are preventing fentanyl imports and distribution.

Are you planning on these highly touted efforts to curb fentanyl imports and distribution failing? Let's face it, you are banging the fentanyl drum to distract from more important voter concerns like inflation, Epstein and the big bogus bill. Everybody ignore billionaire subsidies and the ever changing story on Epstein documents while reducing Medicare.

Am sure the Civil Air Patrol must do some good work and they include among their members your friend Lt. Col. Kristi Noem. She has claimed "In March of 2025, illicit fentanyl traffic at the southwest border fell by 54
percent compared to March of 2024." Performative and unbelievable self -congratulatory stats.

As far as down power line safety, good safety topic. But maybe your constituents would be more interested in your ideas to contain the rampant inflation in electrical costs. (Sparking wires makes for better photo opportunity.)

The big bogus bill does increase assistance for farmers. It is highly touted by people who supported the big bogus bill since otherwise there is little to talk about. We all depend on farmers and hope they are not too hurt by tariffs. Not a big voter block for you.

Enjoy your day,

John

PS What's up with Ukraine peace talks and your stance to providing arms? Seems like our president is encouraging UKR to be more aggressive inside RUS while DoD is restricting armaments to do so.
