Geez, McCormick and Mackenzie like murdering smugglers

Dear Representative:

Thanks for your letter on November 18. We'll just have to disagree and see what St. Peter says when he greets you at the pearly gates.

I agree with the Magna Carta and the subsequent legal tradition including our Constitution, which you are sworn to uphold, that no person should be deprived of their rights without lawful judgement.

Your position is at odds with our founding principles, due process and Habeas Corpus. You believe that calling someone a terrorist means they lose the right to due process. And you believe that it is OK to execute or murder people without a trial if they are labelled terrorists. You also support applying capital punishment for non-capital offenses.

This approach will be expensive and ineffective controlling drug availability, or reducing overdoses, or diminishing the Cartels. But you do you.

What metrics are you tracking to gauge the efficacy of this ridiculous and murderous approach?
